In this role, you will:
* Control, plan, and monitor the daily electronic traffic sheet to optimise fleet operations.
* Deliver exceptional service to customers while ensuring cost-effective vehicle deployment.
* Communicate any deviations in planned collections and deliveries promptly, ensuring seamless coordination with the Customer Service Unit (CSU).
* Strive to achieve and exceed average weekly target revenue levels over a rolling 2-month period.
As an Operations Controller, you will not only manage day-to-day operations but also contribute to the long-term improvement of services:
* Follow up on the root causes of service issues to foster continuous improvement.
* Maintain rigorous daily process controls to ensure compliance with ISO/QA standards.
* Generate insightful management reports that reflect the service and cost performance of charter vehicles.
Qualifications:
* Strong analytical and cost management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
