We are currently recruiting for Live-In Care Professionals to work on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule, though extra work to support our clients is also a possibility. Immediate starts are available.
Job Description
s a Live-In Care Professional, you’ll provide much-needed support to one of our lovely female clients who requires some palliative care and support with day to day living.
Your duties may include a combination of any of the below as all our clients are different:
* Offering companionship and emotional support
* Providing personal care (washing, dressing, grooming, toileting needs)
* Assisting with mobility and light housekeeping tasks
* Overseeing medication and providing medical support
* Preparing and cooking meals, and assisting with eating and drinking
* Running errands (e.g., shopping, picking up prescriptions)
* Providing continence care and helping with morning/evening routines
* Caring for clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you need to be adaptable, personable, and ready to put others first. You should also be:
* Able to work on a two-week on/off schedule
* Eligible to work in the UK
* Although a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for work is an advantage, it is not essential for this client due to central town location.
Additional Information
As aLive In CareCAREGiver, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.
