We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Manager to join a well-established and growing business. This is a permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and the chance to take ownership within a fast-paced procurement function, ensuring stock availability and supporting high levels of customer service across the business.
This role would suit an experienced procurement professional who is confident managing supplier relationships, overseeing stock control, and driving efficiency within supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain stocking profiles within the ERP system to ensure optimal stock levels
* Oversee purchasing activities, placing orders with approved suppliers
* Manage and adjust inbound shipments in line with changing business demands
* Ensure accurate data and records are maintained in line with materials planning processes
* Act as a key point of contact between procurement and sales, providing updates on product availability
* Manage supplier relationships, handling day-to-day queries and driving performance
* Resolve supplier non-compliance issues and implement improvements
* Monitor and report on availability KPIs, identifying trends and areas for improvement
* Work closely with the import team to manage international supply chains
* Support product management with maintaining accurate product data and files
* Collaborate with sales teams on product enquiries, pricing, and quotations
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience within a procurement or supply chain role at a senior or managerial level
* Strong experience using ERP systems, particularly within supply chain planning
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence internal stakeholders and suppliers
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and understand financial impact
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment managing a large product portfolio
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Salary & Working Hours
* £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
* Permanent position
* Monday to Friday
* 40 hours per week
