Clinical Supply Chain Manager (home-based), Reading
This role involves managing the strategic planning and execution of clinical supply chain projects, supporting the development and optimization of the Clinical Trial Supplies department.
Responsibilities
* Interpret clinical trial protocols to develop effective supply chain solutions
* Create and maintain demand forecasts and packaging plans
* Coordinate packaging campaigns with vendors and oversee timely delivery
* Manage study inventory through IRT systems
* Develop distribution plans and oversee vendor execution
* Ensure timely delivery of trial materials
* Track budgets and ensure project efficiency
* Maintain compliance with GxP and regulatory standards
* Lead client and vendor meetings on supply chain topics
* Develop Temperature Excursion management plans and assess related risks
* Support bid defense meetings and process improvements
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in science or business (preferred but not essential)
* 2-3 years experience in Clinical Trials and Supply Chain Management
* Experience with IRT systems
* Strong project management and stakeholder relationship skills
* Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
* Proficiency in English
