Wraparound Care Assistant
Breakfast Club & After‑School Club – Primary School (Crawley)
We are currently seeking a friendly and reliable Wraparound Care Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Crawley area, supporting pupils before and after the school day.
Working Hours
* Breakfast Club: 7:30 am – 8:45 am
* After‑School Club: 3:45 pm – 6:00 pm
Role Responsibilities
* Supervise and engage children in a safe, caring environment.
* Support play‑based activities, games and quiet tasks.
* Assist with snacks and promote positive behaviour.
* Always ensure safeguarding and wellbeing.
* Work as part of a supportive school team.
The Ideal Candidate Will
* Have experience working with children (school, childcare or care settings).
* Be reliable, patient and enthusiastic.
* Understand the importance of safeguarding.
* Hold or be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
Must have
* Ability to work well independently and as a team.
* Passion to support and empower children and young people.
* DBS on the Updates Service or willing to obtain one.
* Commitment to safeguarding students and young people.
