Reporting into the Chemical Engineering Manager and working within a team specialising in organo-sulphur synthesis and high-pressure hydrogenation, the key responsibilities for your new role as Senior Chemical Engineer are as follows: * Initiation, design, implementation and commissioning of plant modification proposals to modify existing plant; including all relevant hazard assessments and HAZOPs. * Deciding the scope and extent of hazard assessment required to the process, carrying out calculations, advising on testing programmes to obtain further data, initiating and leading HAZOPs as required, revising designs accordingly and maintaining the risk assessment record system. * Ensuring all chemical engineering work is in compliance with statutory regulations and codes of practice. * Liaising with the project engineering section to ...
