Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor specialising in private client matters, to join our expanding team based in Newmarket.
To deliver outstanding technical and client services in Private Client work.
Duties and Responsibilities - Private Client Solicitor
Duties are varied, often spanning broad and complex caseloads. EH represent a range of clients, advising on matters such as:
* Drafting of Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Trust and Estate Administration to include complex estates (BPR/APR)
* Court of Protection matters
* Drafting associated/incidental conveyancing documentation (Deeds of Sev/Declaration of Trusts)
* To maintain existing relations with the firm’s clients and build new ones
* Participate in the growth and future development of the firm, assisting in the build-up of the client database and marketing the firm’s services
* Assisting with/helping develop new relationships with local businesses/individuals through networking/events
* Cross-referring work and clients within the firm
Other Duties
* Supervising junior members of the team as and when necessary
* Ensuring files are audit compliant
