Overview

Customer Renewals Advisor – FTC until September 2026. Location: Bradford. Hybrid available or full-time office. Salary: £23,890 (starting salary £23,800). Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract.

My client is a bit different from the usual Insurance businesses. They operate with a personable and welcoming team, not a huge contact centre. The team comprises about 20 customer service professionals with various levels of customer support exposure and a supporting team of 12 administrators. You will also support a technical team of engineers (around 40). All open plan, with great incentives and hours described below.

They offer a 16-week training programme to onboard new people, with engagement from trainers and senior advisors throughout the training. The company is part of an International Group and aims for a positive result for all customers, processing an average of over 87% of claims.


Responsibilities

* Deliver and maintain a high level of customer service to existing customers with a professional and personable manner.
* Engage with customers, identify specific claim requirements, and transfer calls to the appropriate contact if progress cannot be made directly.
* Provide full customer support and update all customer records accurately.
* Advise customers on the next stage of the process and manage compliant administration.
* Recognise opportunities to assist customers and support and guide others learning to become experienced agents.
* Participate in training and observe team members to understand customer requests and provide the right solutions.


Requirements / Qualifications

* Strong ability to work under pressure with excellent customer service skills and a confident telephone manner.
* Reactive and positive attitude; comfortable with a role focused on customer care and problem solving.
* Experience in a busy customer service department, retail, or contact centre is acceptable if you are confident and customer-focused.


Work Schedule & Benefits

* 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with multiple start times: 08:30, 08:45, or 09:15. Occasionally one Saturday every three weeks (09:00 – 12:00) paid at time and a half.
* Hours initially ensure no early or late nights; overtime for Saturday shifts.
