Data Engineer Cheltenham / Hybrid We’re supporting a forward-thinking organisation with a growing internal tech function as they modernise how they manage and report on business data. Following recent investment in their Microsoft ecosystem, they’re expanding their data capabilities and hiring a Data Engineer to help shape a scalable, efficient, and secure data infrastructure. You’ll join a collaborative team working across data pipelines, integrations, and visualisation tools ensuring clean, structured data flows between internal systems, CRM, ERP, and third-party platforms. The Role: Build and maintain ETL pipelines across systems including ERP, CRM (NetSuite), and off-the-shelf applications Develop and manage a centralised reporting layer using Microsoft Fabric and OneLake Create models and semantic layers to support Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports Collaborate across functions to gather requirements and translate them into usable data products Champion data governance, access control, and quality assurance across the estate About You: Commercial experience in data engineering or BI Strong SQL and familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.) Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SSRS, or similar reporting platforms Experience integrating data from multiple systems, including ERP and CRM Confident translating business requirements into technical solutions What’s on Offer: Up to £55,000 salary depending on experience Hybrid working (2–3 days in office per week) A role with real ownership and the chance to shape the future of data infrastructure A great opportunity for someone looking to step into a varied data engineering role and make a long-term impact on how data supports decision-making across the business
