About the Role
We're currently recruiting a Female Waking Nights Support Worker for our respite short-break service on Bisley Drive, South Shields. The service supports adults with learning disabilities in a warm, welcoming 7-bedroom home environment. You'll provide overnight support, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of our guests. Every night is different, and you'll play a key role in supporting a variety of needs, helping individuals feel secure and cared for.
What You'll Be Doing
* Providing personal care and emotional reassurance
* Supporting with medication, routines, and health-related tasks
* Light domestic duties and maintaining a calm night-time environment
* Responding promptly and professionally to any needs during the night
* Communicating effectively with families and professionals
* Promoting independence and dignity in everything you do
Staffing levels vary depending on individual needs of guests each night.

We're seeking a confident and compassionate individual with experience in support work (or a strong desire to learn). The ideal candidate will be:
