Overview
Education Impact Academy Trust (EIAT) is seeking attentive and reliable Exam Invigilators to provide administrative support and supervision during school exam periods alongside assisting the Examinations Officer. Invigilators will play a key role in ensuring the smooth process of assessment and will ensure all examination body requirements and exam conditions are adhered to with honesty and integrity. You will be working closely with the Exams department and our students. The role is casual, as and when required, during exam periods.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support and supervision during examination periods alongside the Examinations Officer.
* Uphold the integrity of the external examination/assessment process by ensuring examination body requirements and exam conditions are adhered to.
* Work closely with the Examinations Department and our students to support a smooth assessment experience.
Qualifications and requirements
* Fluent English is an essential requirement of the role (as per Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016).
* Pre-employment checks will include an enhanced DBS, Childcare Disqualification (where applicable), qualifications, medical fitness, identity and right to work checks; two suitable references. An online search and a prohibition check for teachers will also be carried out as part of due diligence on all shortlisted candidates.
* Some spent convictions and cautions may be protected under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order; details are provided in the DBS filtering guidance.
* All applicants will be required to provide two suitable references. Any safeguarding requirements and policies are available from the Trust on request.
