Job: Teaching Assistant
Location: Bradford
Salary: £95 to £115 per day
Start: April 22nd, 2025
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
The School and Role
Empowering Learning is working closely with a Primary school in Bradford which caters for a wide range of pupils and age groups. The Primary has varying needs across the school such as SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) needs. To work in this role, you will need some of the following.
Requirements
1. Ability to relate well to children and adults and communicate effectively at all levels
2. Ability to deal effectively with students presenting challenging behaviour using de-escalation techniques as appropriate
3. Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
4. Knowledge and experience of behaviour management and restorative strategies
5. Experienced and comfortable with children
6. Having a driving licence is desirable for this role
