Exciting opportunity to join our growing Independent Business Assurance (IBA) team with the role of Test Specialist based in York. IBA is a business function which sits between the technical delivery teams and our clients. IBA provides independent validation and assurance of Change through rigorous TSYS testing prior to it being made available to clients for their UAT. The objective of the IBA team is to deliver high-quality releases with minimal issues for both On-prem and modernization. With the ultimate aim of building trust, delighting customers, driving retention, and fostering long-term growth for TSYS.
The IBA team is looking for results-driven QA/Test Lead with 10+ years of total IT experience in software testing and quality assurance, including 5+ years of focused experience in the Card domain (Credit/Debit/Prepaid cards, Card Management Systems). Proven expertise in leading end-to-end test planning, test strategy, team management, and stakeholder communication for mission-critical financial applications.

 11. Transaction testing: POS, ATM, online, contactless, NFC, fallback
 12. Message validation, including auth codes, response codes, MTIs, and field-level checks
 13. Host simulator testing with VISA/MasterCard compliance
 14. Integration testing with Card Management Systems (CMS), payment switches, and banking cores
 15. Handling chargebacks, disputes, reversals, and settlements
 16. Tokenization, PAN masking, CVV/CVC validation for PCI-DSS compliance
 17. Leading testing for EMV chip & magstripe card workflows
 18. Working closely with business and product teams to ensure regulatory compliance and functional accuracy
 19. TS2 knowledge/experience is preferred
