Management Accountant – About The Role
In this role you will be working within a finance team of 8 and will be reporting into the Head of Finance. You will be a vital player at month end, handling the whole process and your key responsibilities will be:
Own all technical accounting processes: month-end close, reconciliations and trial balance review.
Production of monthly management accounts and providing necessary commentary.
Produce weekly and monthly analysis and reports for cross-departmental and company level performance.
Performed detailed variance analysis and related investigations across a range of reporting.
Ensure all compliance and filing obligations are met for all entities.
Continuously improve finance processes, designing and implementing automations.
Build and maintain reporting tools e.g. on sales performance, client profitability and commission tracking.
Ensure quarterly VAT returns are prepared, reviewed and submitted on time.
Produce debtor aging analysis and risk dashboards.
The successful Management Accountant will have:
Previous experience in a similar position
Be actively studying ACCA or CIMA
Strong Excel skills and use of Power BI
Great attention to detail
An ambitious mindset
