The role As our Repairs Manager, you will ensure that staff, contractors and third parties communicate effectively with customers and/or their representatives to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction. You will line manage a team of Multi-Skilled Trades Operatives, taking responsibility for operational management of their day-to-day activities and ensuring the effective delivery of Responsive Repairs. We expect customer care to be central to what you do, maintaining high standards, and communicating effectively. Our customer base is diverse, and we expect our services to adapt accordingly. In addition, you will ensure the Trusts housing management system, including the stock condition data base, is maintained and updated at all times. About you You may have previous management or supervisory experience, or this may be your first step into a management role. You will need to have the experience and knowledge to diagnose repairs and prepare works specifications along with a working knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and practices. You will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, tailored to meet the needs of a diverse client base. Previous experience in supporting and managing multi-skilled trades operatives and managing contractors would be beneficial. The use of a current driving licence and access to an appropriately insured vehicle is a requirement for the post. Mileage expenses will be reimbursed.
