An established and reputable machinery supplier in the Belfast area is currently seeking an experienced Field Service / Workshop Engineer (Diesel Fitter) to join their growing service team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of plant and diesel-powered equipment both in the workshop and on customer sites.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on construction and agricultural machinery.
Conduct fault-finding and diagnostics on diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Respond to service call-outs and breakdowns in a timely and professional manner.
Complete all service documentation accurately and in line with company procedures.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and complies with relevant health & safety guidelines.
Ideal Candidate: Time-served Diesel Fitter or qualified Mechanical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
Strong experience working with plant, agricultural, or heavy equipment.
Competent in fault diagnosis and repairs on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Experience: Familiarity with major plant brands (e.g.
Kubota, Thwaites, JCB, etc.).
