A welcoming and ambitious primary school in Bedford is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teacher to join them this September for the Autumn Term. This role offers the opportunity to teach an enthusiastic KS1 class, with the potential for an extension based on performance and school needs.
You’ll be part of a supportive, close-knit team that values collaboration, creativity, and the highest standards for pupil progress and wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
* Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
* Differentiate learning to support all abilities
* Work with colleagues to assess and track pupil progress
* Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
* Uphold school values and safeguarding procedures
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Recent teaching experience within Key Stage 1
* Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to high-quality teaching
