Title: Teaching Assistant School: SEMH All-Through School Location: Salisbury Pay: £90–£95/day PAYE Hours: 08:30–15:30, Monday–Friday, Term Time. Axcis Education is recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant to support students at an SEMH all-through school in Salisbury. This Teaching Assistant role is ideal for anyone passionate about working with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, including those with ASC profiles, in a trauma-informed environment. Role responsibilities: •Support students with SEMH needs across the school day •Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning, behaviour strategies, and trauma-informed approaches •Support students with ASC profiles in managing social, emotional, and academic challenges •Promote emotional regulation, social skills, and positive routines •Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment •Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider school team Requirements: •Professional or personal experience supporting SEND or students is desirable •Understanding of trauma-informed practice and ASC profiles is highly valued •Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach •Strong teamwork and communication skills If you’re looking for Teaching Assistant jobs in Salisbury or want to develop experience supporting SEMH and ASC students in a trauma-informed school, apply today through Axcis Education.
