We’re delighted to be recruiting for a Senior Tenant Voice Officer to help strengthen the way we listen to and support our tenants. 12- Month FTC | 37 hours per week | Monday–Friday Agile/Flexible working considered. Location: Melton, Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich Role and responsibilities As our Senior Tenant Voice Officer, you’ll play a central role in strengthening how we listen to and act on the voices of our tenants. You’ll help drive forward our Tenant Voice Framework by engaging directly with customers, gathering insights, and ensuring their experiences are easy, empathetic, and low‑effort. You’ll work with teams across the organisation to build trust, understand tenant needs, and influence meaningful improvements in the areas where our communities live. You’ll lead on managing and resolving tenant complaints with fairness, accuracy, and a focus on learning. As a senior member of the team, you’ll also support the Tenant Voice Manager with MP letters, Stage 2 complaints, and Housing Ombudsman Service packs, while taking the lead on complex cases and acting as a subject matter expert. You’ll deputise for your manager when needed and support colleagues within the Tenant Voice team. What we're looking for: Experience working in a customer‑facing role, including handling complaints and building strong relationships. A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and putting tenants’ needs first. Highly organised with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to take initiative and be creative in how you engage and involve tenants. Sound working knowledge of Tenant Voice and how it supports customer experience. Confident in prioritising multiple demands and managing competing deadlines. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to deliver clear messaging and support in training others.
