Summer Opportunity -Process Technician needed in Ledbury

We're hiring for a fixed term Summer project (May till August) with a leading FMCG business in Ledbury. This is your choice to work at the heart of production during peak period season, keeping operations running smoothly while building hands on experience.
What you'll be doing:
o Operating production machinery and equipment in your area
o Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent output.
o Maintaining a safe working environment and identifying potential hazards
o Completing production records, logs and quality documentation
o Supporting product changeovers to meet production schedules
o Ensuring high standards of hygiene and housekeeping (GMP)
o Following production plans to hit daily targets
o Escalating any issues to the Team Leader
o Supporting waste reduction and 'clean as you go practice'
o Learning and using SCADA System
What we're looking for:
o A strong understanding of GMP or food manufacturing mindset
o Excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused schedules
o Ability to follow processes and work to production schedules
o Good numerical and analytical skills
o Basic IT skills (Excel, Word, SAP is bonus)
o A team player who thrives in fast-paced environment
o Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (Days, Nights & Weekends)

The Details:
o Pay: £15.31 per hour

o Hours: Full time, 12 hour shifts (Days, Nights and Weekends)
