This Role The Learning & Development Apprentice will work as part of a team to support the design, delivery, and evaluation of effective learning and development solutions that meet the needs of individuals and teams across the organisation. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in L&D practices while working towards a Level 3 Learning and Development Practitioner Apprenticeship. Requirements Role Requirements & Responsibilities Areas of expertise and responsibility will include: · Support the coordination and delivery of learning programmes and events. · Assist with training needs analysis and gathering feedback from learners and stakeholders. · Help design and develop learning content using appropriate tools and technologies. · Maintain learning records, track attendance, and evaluate programme effectiveness. · Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including subject matter experts, training providers, and learners. · Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating learner feedback and identifying opportunities to enhance training delivery. · Ensure that learning solutions align with business goals and performance requirements. · Participate in projects that support wider people and development initiatives. · Maintain confidentiality and adhere to GDPR and organisational policies. Academic eligibility and requirements The L&D Apprentice must commit to the following academic responsibilities over the 15 month programme · Apprentices are required to attend classes one full day per week online with ITP. · Complete a structured curriculum of theoretical and practical modules. · All required exams, projects, and continuous assessments must be successfully completed. · Submit reflective journals/ work-based projects to the learning institution provider that demonstrate the application of their learning as required. *Regular attendance and active participation in college sessions are mandatory. Candidate Requirements · Ability to be flexible in respect of work standards and demands. · Capable of working under pressure at times and to strict deadlines. · Ability to complete tasks under strict deadlines, multitask and deliver results under pressure · Resilient and able to deal with changing priorities. The successful candidate will be required to possess and demonstrate: · Passion for learning and professional development. · Good written and verbal communication skills. · Strong English Language Level. · Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. · Ability to manage time and prioritise work effectively. · Comfortable using digital learning platforms and MS Office tools. · Willingness to learn, reflect, and apply feedback. The following qualifications, skills and experience would be an advantage. · Proficent knowledge of a European language. · Experience of MS SharePoint in a corporate environment. · Basic understanding of instructional design or adult learning principles. · Familiarity with e-learning platforms or content creation tools (e.g., Articulate, Canva, Moodle). · Experience in customer service or administrative roles. Qualifications: · GCSEs (or equivalent) in English at Grade 4/C or above. · Must meet eligibility requirements for a Level 3 L&D Practitioner Apprenticeship. Development Opportunities: · Formal apprenticeship training delivered via an approved training provider. · Exposure to all areas of L&D including design, delivery, and evaluation. · Opportunities to develop presentation and facilitation skills. · Supportive coaching and mentoring from experienced L&D professionals. · Hands on experience in a busy L&D environment. · Upon completion apprentices will be awarded a Level 3 Learning & Development Practitioner Qualification
