We are looking for a Cloud & Security Engineer:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our core infrastructure and cloud systems. You’ll work hands‑on to resolve incidents, deliver technical guidance, and manage areas such as identity and access, security, networking, and endpoint administration.
You’ll partner closely with the IT Manager to execute our IT and Cybersecurity strategy, combining day‑to‑day operational excellence with project delivery, security improvements, and ongoing enhancements across our technology environment.
What you’ll be doing
* Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage and optimise Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Entra ID, and security features such as Conditional Access and Defender.
* Security & Compliance: Configure Microsoft Defender solutions, strengthen email security, assist with vulnerability management, and enforce compliance standards.
* Identity & Access Management: Oversee Entra ID lifecycle, MFA, SSO integrations, privileged access, and governance for users and service accounts.
* Endpoint Management: Deploy and maintain Intune and Autopilot, ensure secure device lifecycle, and implement configuration baselines.
* Cloud & SaaS Management: Administer Azure users, manage SaaS integrations and licensing, onboard new applications, and improve productivity through tool optimisation.
* Network & Infrastructure: Monitor and maintain Cisco Meraki networks, ensuring performance, uptime, and security.
* Projects & Change Delivery: Lead cloud, security, and modern workplace initiatives, document processes, and drive continuous improvement.
* Support: Provide 2nd/3rd line support, assist the service desk when needed, and mentor the System Administrator.

Experience & Qualifications
Essential
* 3+ years’ hands‑on administration of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and patch management.
* Experience with Microsoft Defender suite.
* Knowledge of email authentication (DMARC, SPF, DKIM).
* Familiarity with Cisco Meraki networks.
* Experience supporting audits (Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO27001).
Desirable
* Exposure to E5 licensing, Copilot security, or multi‑tenant Azure environments.
Nice to Have
* Microsoft certifications such as MS-102, AZ-104, SC-200, SC-300, or SC-400.
