Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Commercial/Specialist Broker, located in Stevenage. The role involves managing client portfolios, developing tailored insurance solutions, and negotiating with underwriters to secure optimal coverage. Responsibilities include assessing clients' needs, handling policy renewals, maintaining strong relationships with both clients and insurers, and staying informed about market changes to provide accurate and relevant advice.
Qualifications
Proficiency in communication, negotiation, and relationship management
Familiarity with insurance underwriting processes, risk assessment, and industry regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time-management skills
Experience with CRM systems and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required
Insurance industry certification (e.g., CII qualification) is a plus
Previous experience in a commercial insurance environment is advantageous
