Overview
Your role as a Service Planner, your mission is to take responsibility for planning the day-to-day work schedules of our field service engineers, ensuring that all planned service requirements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
* Effectively manage the use of the SAP planning systems.
* Set the Engineers work schedules so as to maximise efficiency and minimise non utilised hours.
* Ensure orders are correctly allocated and released to the engineer prior to the site visit date.
* Liaise with customers by phone or e-mail to arrange and confirm the service visits, and ensure they are fully aware of the work and the date the work is to be carried out.
* Monitor and record the progress of all customer orders to guarantee work is fully completed along with additional work planning.
* Maintain all orders within SAP, to ensure all work is correctly allocated, so that quality reports can be gathered via SAP reporting facilities.
* Regularly liaise with the Field Service Engineers, Service Sales Managers, Capital Sales managers and internal departments to expedite customer requests.
* Regularly liaise with the Planning Team Leader, Service Manager, Field Service Engineer Team Leader in order to highlight and resolve any operational/planning problems in an effective and efficient manner.
* Collate information from the Field Service Engineers to accurately record and maintain customer records and information.
Experience / Educational Requirements
* Experience of working in business administration.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong planning and organising skills.
* Ability to manage and prioritise workload.
* Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office.
* Excellent telephone manner.
* SAP knowledge and experience desirable.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
* Fluent in English.
* Adaptability – ability to modify style in order to achieve results and maintain effectiveness.
* Creative Thinking – Ability to identify alternatives to current thinking. Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to problems.
* Planning & Organising - Ability to establish and implement a systematic course of action to achieve an objective effectively and efficiently.

Job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Warrington Office, UK.
You must live in a commutable distance from Warrington and be a UK resident with a valid UK work permit if required.
