About BABCP
The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) is a charity and the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in the UK and Ireland. We have over 23,000 members and promote, improve, and uphold standards of CBT practice, supervision, and training.
We also offer CPD provision for our members and are recruiting for a Temporary Events Administrator to support the delivery of CPD and event activities. This is a 6-month role within the Membership Services Team, focusing on facilitating online CPD events and ensuring they meet members' needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide administrative support for all aspects of CPD events, including booking setups, managing invite lists, assisting delegates with registration, and responding to queries.
2. Review event proposals, handle follow-up correspondence, and prepare information for review by colleagues.
3. Collate feedback from events and surveys for reporting purposes.
4. Liaise with venues and speakers to ensure smooth event delivery.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
* Experience in successfully administering and delivering both online and face-to-face events.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online meeting/webinar applications.
Additional Details
