Bidfresh is a multinational food distributor supplying food and related products to customers that include tourism operators, hotels, restaurants, cafés, hospitals, schools, and other businesses in the wider Canterbury area.
We are seeking an energetic and positive person to join the Sales team as an Account Manager to help ensure that Bidfresh Christchurch and our customers continue to be highly successful. You will be responsible for managing existing accounts, developing new business, and ensuring maximum results for both our customers and Bidfresh, thereby exceeding monthly sales targets.
Superior customer service is achieved through a team effort, and the Account Manager is expected to contribute fully, requiring flexibility, hard work, determination, and a consistently positive attitude in every circumstance.
You need to be highly organized, resilient, and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, along with initiative and the ability to work independently. While previous sales experience is not essential, a stable track record of success, a passion for food, strong computer skills, and a long-term commitment to Christchurch are mandatory. You must also be a New Zealand or Australian citizen or have residency status and hold a full, clean driver’s license to be considered for this role.
