JOB TITLE: Streetworks Officer JOB LOCATION: Cumbria TERMS: Permanent, full time WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Updating Streetworks with relevant information Raising and closing permits Understand and ensure Permit Schemes and their common requirements for dealing with road closures are met Completing risk assessments in line with SWUK protocol Provide streetworks administration support in accordance with business operations Ensure compliance with all elements of streetworks legislation through effective management of notices, permits and other documents Liaise with operations, local authorities and third parties to arrange bus stop / parking suspensions / road closures and use of portable traffic signals Liaise and arrange traffic management Support the development of processes, workflows and efficiency improvements General Administration duties Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met WHAT WILL YOU BRING? Previous experience in a similar role is desirable Strong scheduling experience and administrative background Good knowledge of utility works Driven and able to work autonomously with high level of attention to detail Competent or advanced competency with Microsoft Office applications Excellent communication skills across all levels Demonstrable organisation and time management skills Telecoms or utilities experience is desirable ABOUT US Viberoptix, part of the Fibrus Group of companies, deliver specialised fibre network build solutions from design, civils activities, cabling and splicing.
