Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)
We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Communications Executive to join our growing team at Birmingham Airport. Reporting to the Brand & Campaigns Manager, you will support the delivery of impactful marketing communications that drive awareness, engagement and commercial results across the airport.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with airlines, agencies and internal teams to bring campaigns to life across multiple channels and touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the planning, delivery and reporting of marketing campaigns in collaboration with external agencies
2. Assist in the delivery of joint airline marketing campaigns to drive awareness and bookings
3. Ensure on-site branding and collateral are aligned with brand guidelines and kept up to date
4. Promote on-site concessions and partners to drive commercial performance
5. Support the delivery of the “We’re on our Way” marketing programme and other key initiatives
6. Assist with procurement and budget tracking for communications activity
Key Experience / Requirements
7. Previous experience in a marketing, communications or similar role
8. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
9. Confident communicator with strong attention to detail
10. Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) desirable, or willingness to learn
11. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners
12. Flexible approach, including participation in occasional out-of-hours/on-call support
