About The Role
As a Production Engineer, you'll play a critical role in maintaining seamless production by responding swiftly to breakdowns, reducing downtime, and ensuring reliability through planned maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns to minimise downtime
* Conduct planned maintenance to improve equipment reliability
* Support in commissioning new equipment and upgrading existing machinery
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety requirements
* Hands‑on involvement, suited to those who excel in dynamic, fast‑paced settings
About You
This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong engineering background in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably within food production.
Key Skills
* Strong Mechanical or Electrical skills
* Experience in food production is ideal but not essential
* Hands‑on experience with minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical engineering qualification
* Experience in a planned and reactive maintenance
Working Hours
* Seven‑day fortnight: Work 7 out of 14 days, with alternating weeks of day and night shifts
* 12‑hour shifts (7am - 7pm)
