Within Acute Frailty at St Richards, we have an opportunity for you. We are a dynamic, inclusive, and supportive team within Boxgrove.
We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic nurse with a 'can-do' positive approach to fill our Band 6 positions, complementing our positive team culture with strong leadership and coaching skills.
Our ward is a 27-bed unit specializing in elderly care, acute frailty, and dementia care.
You will need to demonstrate a keen interest in elderly care, with the ability to engage with visitors, loved ones, families, and confidently liaise with our extended multidisciplinary team (MDT).
As a senior nurse, you will need to be supportive and resilient in challenging situations. We value innovative and creative thinking within our inclusive team culture.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for leading the team in the absence of the ward sister, supporting staff management, audits, and ward development projects. You will also assist the ward sister in reviewing complaints and governance issues, promoting a positive safety culture.
* To have 24-hour responsibility supporting the ward sister for effective management of the area and deputising in their absence.
* Provide nursing leadership within this area, ensuring high standards of care and patient safety.

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 per annum (pro-rata), depending on experience.
