Job Description
Join ThrustEdge Simulations : Graduate Engineer (Mechanical/AeropaceFocus)
Are you a passionate engineer with a knack for pushing boundaries in CleanTech and Aeronautics? ThrustEdge Simulations is a cutting-edge R&D startup created by a former international student dedicated to designing proprietary hardware and intellectual property that solves critical performance challenges in advanced systems like EV batteries, next-gen UAVs, and lightweight structures. We're not consultants; we're builders of future tech, leveraging advanced simulation to accelerate our internal R&D.
We're looking for a talented Innovation Engineer to join our lean, dynamic team and contribute directly to our exciting internal projects. You'll be instrumental in developing innovative hardware designs and validating their performance virtually.
Our primary mission is not profit,it’s about building industry-relevant expertise. By working with us, you’ll develop your skills, contribute to groundbreaking projects, and create a professional portfolio that makes you stand out. Any future revenue generated from our projects will be equitably shared among team members.
What You'll Do, not alone but in team:
* Lead and contribute to the design and optimisation of proprietary hardware concepts for high-performance applications in CleanTech (e.g., advanced battery thermal management) and Aeronautics (e.g., aerothermal UAV components).
* Conduct advanced numerical simulations (CFD, FEA, Multiphysics) to validate and refine our designs, significantly reducing the need for costly physical prototyping.
* Develop and implement innovative simulation methodologies for complex engineering problems.
* Collaborate closely with the founding team to transform cutting-edge ideas into tangible, high-performance IP.
* Generate detailed technical reports and compelling visualisations of simulation results to support IP development and future partnership discussions.
What We're Looking For :
* At least degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution from (IMECHE).
* We encourgare international students to apply.
* Theoretical and practical understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and heat transfer principles.
* Knowledge in CAD software for complex part and assembly design.
* A passion for innovation, problem-solving, and a drive to contribute to sustainable technologies.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Why Join ThrustEdge Innovations ?
* Get professional experience, while working with other graduates on projects.
* Cutting-Edge Work: Be at the forefront of hardware innovation in critical, high-growth sectors.
* Impactful IP Development: Your work will directly contribute to the creation of proprietary designs and methodologies that will shape future technologies.
* Unrivaled Tool Access: Work with and master industry-leading simulation and design software, including the opportunity to use SOLIDWORKS, CATIA V5, FUSION 360, COMSOL Multiphysics, and Ansys. We believe in equipping our team with the best tools to achieve groundbreaking results.
* Dynamic Startup Environment: A flexible, collaborative, and fast-paced setting where your ideas genuinely matter.
* Professional Growth: Develop deep expertise in advanced simulation and design, with continuous learning opportunities.
