Location: Remote (UK-wide travel)
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Company Car + Benefits
About the Role
Join a leading NAV utility provider as a Wastewater Operations Engineer, responsible for inspection, compliance, and adoption (S104) of sewer networks across new developments.
A field-based role where you’ll ensure assets are constructed safely, compliant with Sewer Sector Guidance, and fit for long-term operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Wastewater site inspections (construction, pre & post adoption)
* Ensure compliance with S104, Sewer Sector Guidance & industry standards
* Manage NCRs (non-conformance reports)
* Work with developers, ICPs, contractors & groundworkers
* Audit competency, safety & compliance
* Provide technical support & value engineering input
* Support asset adoption & maintenance strategy
Requirements
* Experience in wastewater design / sewerage / new developments
* Strong knowledge of S104, Sewer Sector Guidance & NAV processes
* Background in consultancy, developer services, or utilities
* Understanding of design, construction & adoption lifecycle
* Strong communication, stakeholder engagement & problem solving
