Key Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs.
* Work closely with educational staff to integrate therapeutic goals into classroom activities.
* Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and treatment plans.
* Conduct assessments to evaluate students' needs and track their progress.
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members regarding therapy goals and outcomes.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications
* Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Washington State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
* Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals.
* Familiarity with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and related documentation.
Location
This position is based on-site at a small school district in Bellingham, WA, serving approximately 500 students.
