Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a high:volume, large:capacity venue in London. This is a key leadership role supporting the General Manager in the day:to:day running of a busy operation with a turnover exceeding A GBP 100k+. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both food and bar operations, with experience managing large teams in fast:paced, high:volume environments. You will be confident in a guest:facing role, bringing an outgoing personality and a hands:on leadership style.
Responsibilities
* Support the General Manager in the overall running of a high:volume, large:capacity venue
* Lead, manage, and develop a large front and back of house team
* Oversee daily food and bar operations to ensure consistent service standards
* Take ownership of private hire and events, ensuring smooth planning and execution
* Drive exceptional customer experience and handle guest feedback professionally
* Assist with stock control, rotas, compliance, and operational reporting
* Act as a visible, hands:on leader on the floor during busy service periods
* Ensure all licensing, health and safety, and company procedures are followed
* Support recruitment, training, and ongoing development of team members
* Hold a Personal Licence (desirable but not essential)
