Transport Planner

About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated professional to handle the day-to-day planning of a 40+ vehicle fleet, including subcontracted operations. The role is central to ensuring smooth logistics operations, maintaining excellent customer service standards, and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and manage all fleet movements and subcontractor activities
* Coordinate outbound deliveries and reloads with precision
* Work closely with drivers, warehouse, and customer service teams to keep operations efficient
* Liaise directly with customers to handle scheduling and requirements
* Tackle logistical challenges proactively and adapt to changing demands
Requirements
* Proven experience in transport planning and fleet management
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* Proficiency in transport planning software and MS Office
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, office-based environment
What Our Client Offers
