We are searching for an experienced IT Manager with a proven background in financial services to lead and evolve our enterprise IT function.
In this strategic role, you will ensure secure, scalable, and compliant IT systems that support fast-paced, regulated business environments.
You will oversee infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms, driving initiatives that enable operational excellence, innovation, and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing IT team to deliver technology excellence in a regulated financial environment.
* Oversee day-to-day IT operations covering infrastructure, applications, networking, cloud services, and helpdesk support.
* Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with business and regulatory objectives, including digital transformation initiatives.
* Manage on-premises and cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure, Office 365, AWS, VMware, Hyper-V) suited for financial workloads.
* Supervise deployment and management of business-critical applications (Core Banking, Trading, ERP, CRM, HRIS, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online).
* Ensure robust and secure networking, firewalling, VPN, and WAN setups (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Meraki)—tailored for financial data security.
* Oversee high-reliability storage and backup solutions (Dell EMC, NetApp, Veeam, Commvault), ensuring business continuity.
* Lead implementation and enforcement of IT security and compliance frameworks relevant to financial services (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOX, GDPR, FFIEC, NIST).
* Manage incident, problem, and change management in line with ITIL and regulatory standards (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
* Coordinate IT budgeting, license management, vendor due diligence, and contract negotiations.
* Support automation, integration, and DevOps adoption (CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, PowerShell, Ansible).
* Oversee desktop management and user support (Windows 10/11, macOS, SCCM, Intune) in secure environments.
* Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans; run regular drills and ensure rapid recovery protocols.
* Produce and maintain detailed documentation and regulatory audit artefacts.
* Serve as escalation point and technology advisor for complex technical and compliance challenges.
* Evaluate emerging technologies for risk, compliance, and business value.
Key Skills & Experience
* 5+ years in IT management or senior IT leadership roles, specifically within the financial services industry (banking, insurance, asset management, fintech, etc.).
* In-depth understanding of financial services regulations, IT risk management, and security controls.
* Experience managing IT in regulated environments and during regulatory audits or exams.
* Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure (cloud/on-prem), systems administration, and secure enterprise applications.
* Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and hybrid IT environments.
* Hands-on knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and secure networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, SD-WAN).
* Familiarity with authentication, access, and identity management (Active Directory, Azure AD, MFA, Okta).
* Track record managing financial services applications (Core Banking Systems, Payments, Trading Platforms), and their interfaces/integrations.
* Thorough understanding of IT security technologies, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection.
* Strong grasp of ITIL practices and use of major service management tools.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including liaison with auditors and regulators.
* Strong project management, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience handling vendor selection, contract negotiation, and due diligence in financial services.
