Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)


📍 UK-based (Bristol proximity ideal) | Hybrid Working


We’re looking for a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead the next phase of growth for a purpose-driven consultancy working at the intersection of business and social impact. This is a pivotal executive role for a commercial leader who can combine strategic vision with hands-on excellence in enterprise sales.


The Role

As CCO, you’ll take ownership of the go-to-market engine – orchestrating sales, marketing, and partnerships into one seamless approach. You’ll professionalise how we sell, coach our sector directors, and drive a structured, disciplined pipeline that delivers measurable growth across multiple regions and industries.


What You’ll Be Doing

* Designing and executing a best-in-class commercial strategy, covering both new logo acquisition and account development.
* Embedding sales process rigour: pipeline design, bid and proposal leadership, qualification, deal reviews, and CRM discipline.
* Coaching sector experts into confident commercial leaders, bringing energy and pace to client engagement.
* Building trusted relationships at C-suite level, particularly with Directors of Social Sustainability, Compliance, and Procurement within multinationals.
* Leading competitive tenders and high-value negotiations with polish and confidence.
* Aligning marketing, sales, and delivery teams to scale impact across diverse markets.


About You

We’re seeking a proven commercial leader with a strong consulting or enterprise services background. You’ll have built and led high-performing sales functions, not just carried a bag yourself, and you’ll thrive in cross-functional environments where values matter as much as results.

You’ll bring:

* Enterprise sales leadership in consulting/services, ideally with multinational clients.
* Strong networks and relationship capital at executive level in FMCG, metals & mining, tech, financial services, or global manufacturing.
* A track record of orchestrating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
* Ability to coach and align technical/non-sales leaders into winning teams.
* Commercial creativity, structure, and polish – with a values-forward approach.
