Overview
We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our dynamic team, on a payment by results basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in assembly processes. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for working with various hand and power tools to assemble components accurately and efficiently within a warehouse environment.
Duties
* Assemble components according to specifications and drawings, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly tasks.
* Conduct inspections of assembled products to ensure they meet quality requirements.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency.
* Report any issues or discrepancies in materials or components to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
* Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications.
* Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Previous experience in assembly work or warehouse operations is advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
