Its the kind of environment where people tend to stay long term, and theyre now looking to bring in an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to support the finance function as the business continues to grow. The Role This is a varied, hands-on position where youll be involved across the day-to-day running of transactional finance. Youll be someone whos confident getting stuck into the detail and keeping things moving across purchase ledger, sales ledger, reconciliations, and month-end support. Its a full-time, permanent onsite role based in Folkestone. What youll be doing Processing and maintaining purchase ledger and sales ledger activity Carrying out regular bank reconciliations Making sure invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time Supporting with month-end tasks and basic reporting Helping keep financial records clean, accurate and up to date Dealing with day-to-day finance queries from across the business Supporting improvements to processes where things can be made more efficient Picking up ad hoc finance tasks as they come in What theyre looking for Previous experience in a Senior Accounts Assistant or similar transactional finance role Comfortable across AP, AR and reconciliations Confident using accounting systems and Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Someone whos organised and happy working in a busy environment A good communicator who takes a proactive approach to their work Salary & Benefits Up to £38,000 depending on experience Full-time, permanent onsite position Supportive, down-to-earth working environment Stable business with a strong local presence Opportunity to be a key part of a small, established finance team
