Join Meiko UK as a Senior CAD Technician
Location: Slough Trading Estate, Berkshire
Salary: Competitive – based on experience + Bonus + Pension + Private Healthcare
Hours: Full-time, Office-based
Meiko UK Limited is a leader in providing world-class commercial dishwashing and warewashing systems – from compact undercounter units to sophisticated semi-automated solutions. Our systems power some of the UK’s most prestigious catering and hospitality environments.
We are now looking for a Senior CAD Technician to join our expert team at our modern Slough office, located within easy reach via public transport and major road networks. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects with a global industry leader.
About the Role
As a Senior CAD Technician, you will play a key role in bringing our projects to life – producing accurate layout and fabrication drawings for a wide range of catering environments. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will collaborate with:
• Dealers and specifying consultants
• External sales team and in-house project managers
• UK-based fabrication and factory teams
You'll be responsible for:
• Creating technical layout drawings for proposals and installations
• Developing fabrication and production drawings
• Supporting project documentation and approval processes
• Preparing detailed M&E and builder's work drawings
• Maintaining drawing logs and project records
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in a fast-paced CAD design environment
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical (M&E) services is a strong advantage
• Experience with Revit and BIM Level 2 is required
• A design-based or engineering/building services qualification or similar CAD role experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
