Job type: Permanent, Full-time. Applications are invited for a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist for General Adult services in West Bromwich as part of the General Adult Sandwell Team. This vacancy has arisen as the result of service development.
Responsibilities
The post is for General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist working in Hallam Street Hospital, West Bromwich. The post holder will lead General Adult mental health Team services by working closely with the service manager and a multidisciplinary team comprising predominantly of nurses, specialty doctors, and psychologists. The post holder will join the peer group of Consultants providing comprehensive mental health services as part of Community Mental Health Teams in each locality. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled clinician who will lead the MDT and who will take keen interest in teaching, training and service development. The post holder will work full time to a 10 PA Job Plan.
