Job Summary
We Are With You are seeking a Training and Participation Lead for our Lancashire Young People’s service. The role is full‑time, fixed‑term until 31 March 2027 and based in Burnley, Preston or Lancaster. The position will close early if sufficient applications are received.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain community relationships with diverse communities.
* Support teams and peer mentors to develop connections with young people.
* Deliver face‑to‑face and online training to professionals from partner agencies, increasing awareness of substances and delivering harm‑reduction messages.
* Work across all of Lancashire and travel between offices as required.
* Apply best practice safeguarding, boundaries and co‑production principles.
Qualifications & Experience
* Compassionate and motivated, with a strong ability to build meaningful relationships.
* Experience in health, social care, criminal justice or a similar setting, ideally with young people and in the drug and alcohol sector.
* Successful track record in customer service.
* Volunteer Management or training qualification (or equivalent) or willingness to achieve within 18 months.
* Experience planning and delivering training programmes.
* Experience partnering with statutory and non‑statutory agencies.
* Knowledge of safeguarding, boundaries and co‑production with young people.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Resilience, strong prioritisation and the ability to manage competing demands.
* Strong IT skills.
* Ready to use a car for business purposes and visit other locations as required.
