An opportunity has arisen for a friendly and reliable individual to take on the role of Clinical Support Supervisor within the Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Service.
This busy post provides direct comprehensive first line management support to a varied team of administration staff across the Mental Health & Learning Disabilities service. You will support the Administration Service Lead in managing all aspects of administration, secretarial and clerical support service across the Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Service to ensure that appropriate and effective support is provided to senior management, medical staff and other clinicians.
You will provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial support service to the Clinical Service Managers and Lead Nurse Teams within the Mental Health & Learning Disabilities Service to assist in planning, developing, maintaining and managing the service in order to meet the objectives and demands of the service.
You should have qualifications in business administration or secretarial services or equivalent. You will have a minimum of significant administration / PA experience working for a consultant team or Clinical Service Manager or Professional and advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office packages is essential. You will possess excellent skills in organisation, minute-taking, numeracy, audio and keyboard and be proficient in the working of email, spreadsheets and develop and maintain databases. You will also have the ability to work as a member of a team or on your own initiative with minimal supervision. You should have Proven experience of co leading and implementation of service improvement project(s) and/or 1st line supervision of peers/staff.
You will be expected to attend in-house training opportunities for personal development and ongoing learning. Reasonable knowledge of the NHS is desirable and knowledge of medical terminology and / or previous experience of working in a health care setting will be advantageous.
You will at times be required to travel between locations within Fife.
