Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare management, with specific experience in domiciliary care, assisted living and complex care environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to develop and implement care plans, and a commitment to providing high-quality care for service users, including those with dementia and Alzheimer's. The Registered Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a compassionate and supportive atmosphere for both staff and service users.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times.
* Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans for service users, ensuring that their needs are met effectively.
* Supervise and support staff, providing guidance on best practices in senior care, medication administration, and dementia care.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements within the sector.
* Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
* Foster a positive environment that promotes the dignity and well-being of all residents.
* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for service users.
Experience
* Proven experience in a management role within a domiciliary care, assisted living or complex care setting is essential.
* Background in nursing or senior care is highly desirable.
* Experience in developing care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
* Demonstrated supervisory experience with a focus on leadership and team development.
* Familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer's care practices is advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Excellent communication skills to engage positively with residents, families, and staff alike.
