Job Title: Bid Manager
Reports to: FlamePro Sales Director
Package: dependent on experience. £50k - £70k

FlamePro designs and delivers life-saving PPE and rapid deployment systems to fire and defence services across the world. We’re growing fast, and we need a hands-on, high-energy Bid Manager to pull our bid activity together across our Fire and Defence divisions.
This isn’t about red tape and paperwork — it’s about building a smart, agile, tech-driven bidding function that wins work.
What you will do:
* Own the bid process from RFI and PQQ through to ITT and contract handover.
* Build structure, tools and systems to make us faster, sharper and more consistent.
* Use AI and automation to make the process smarter, not harder.
* Collaborate with our Sales, Product, and Technical teams to write bids that win, not waffle.
* Manage international submissions, coordinating local bid writers and translators.
* Drive improvement every time — smarter content, tighter deadlines, higher win rates.
Who you are:
* A doer, not a box-ticker. You thrive in a fast-paced, no-fluff environment.
* Experienced in tenders, bids, or public sector frameworks (Defence or Fire is a bonus).
* Sharp, structured and commercially switched on.
* Confident with AI tools, document systems, and data-driven efficiency.
* A natural organiser who owns the process from start to finish.
