SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary)

Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible supply options
Salary: £13.70 £14.50 per hour

Supply Desk is working with a number of welcoming primary schools across Brighton and nearby areas, and we re looking for caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistants (SENTAs) to join our team. Whether you re experienced or just starting out, if you re ready to make a difference we d love to hear from you.
Your Role Will Include:
* Supporting pupils with a range of SEN needs, often on a one-to-one or small group basis
* Building positive relationships to help children feel safe, supported and included
* Assisting teachers and SENCOs in delivering tailored learning plans
* Creating a nurturing and structured classroom environment
* Encouraging independence, confidence and social development
* Helping to reduce barriers to learning and promote full classroom participation
What We re Looking For:
* A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
* Calm, patient and professional approach
* Previous experience in SEN or similar support roles is highly desirable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A collaborative team player who s flexible and reliable
