Administration Officer Based : Office based – Memorial House, Coalville, Leicestershire Hours : 35 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, with one hour for lunch each day Salary : £24,891 - £27,657 per annum (RFJ 4) The role We're looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Administration Officer to support our Property Services directorate at emh homes. This role is key to ensuring the smooth delivery of planned and reactive works, providing high-quality administrative support and helping us deliver an efficient, right-first-time service to our customers. You'll manage a variety of administrative tasks including invoice processing, raising works orders, maintaining asset and document management systems, and keeping accurate records in line with policy and compliance requirements. You'll work closely with internal teams, contractors and consultants, supporting meetings, updating databases, and ensuring key documentation such as risk assessments, surveys and certificates are properly recorded. A strong focus on customer service is essential. You'll liaise with tenants, leaseholders and colleagues on a daily basis, contribute to resident engagement activities, and help drive continuous improvement and value for money across the service. You'll also support service performance by meeting KPIs, identifying issues early, and promoting safe, inclusive and effective ways of working. The ideal candidate The ideal candidate will be a well-organised and methodical administrator with strong IT and digital skills, educated to at least GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English. They will have experience using IT database systems and be confident working with MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with the ability to manage data accurately and efficiently. Customer-focused by nature, they will consistently demonstrate excellent service standards, work effectively to defined processes, and manage their workload with strong time management skills.
