Job Title: Remote Façade Estimator
The Opportunity
We’re working with a well-established UK façade contractor who specialise in delivering high-quality external envelope solutions. With a strong pipeline of projects across the commercial and residential sectors, they’re now looking to appoint a Remote Façade Estimator to strengthen their pre-construction team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced estimator to work on prestigious projects, collaborate with a forward-thinking team, and enjoy the flexibility of working from home.
Key Responsibilities
*
Preparing accurate cost estimates for curtain walling, cladding, rainscreen, aluminium systems, structural glazing, and fire-rated packages.
*
Reviewing architectural/engineering drawings and performing detailed take-offs.
*
Sourcing and negotiating competitive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
*
Identifying risks, value engineering opportunities, and contributing to tender strategy.
*
Supporting bid submissions and handover to project delivery teams.
Candidate Profile
*
3+ years’ experience as a façade/cladding estimator within a specialist subcontractor or contractor.
*
Strong technical understanding of external envelope systems (curtain walling, glazing, aluminium, rainscreen, etc.).
*
Confident user of estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, Excel, SchuCal, Logikal, or similar).
*
Excellent commercial awareness with strong communication and negotiation skills.
*
Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tenders under tight deadlines.
