SANZA Teaching Agency recruiting for a teaching assistant to work across key stage 2 (year 3 to year 6). The role will be working with key groups of students throughout the day. The students all have additional needs (including Autism).
About you:
Perhaps you are a recent university graduate considering a PGCE in the future? Or perhaps you are considering a career in an adjacent field, such as psychology/counselling, play therapist, occupational therapy, speech & language, social work etc?
If so, you will need to meet the below criteria to apply:
Experience working with children is essential
Experience working as a teaching assistant/in schools is desirable
Experience working with learning needs is desirable
Must be passionate about supporting children with additional needs
Must be confident and personable
Must be able to build strong rapport with children and work well in a large school environmentYou will be required to:
Implement personalised learning programmes with key students
Support teachers in monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil achievement, progress and development
Work with small groups of students
Work 1:1 with xcswzye students as required
Deliver fun and creative lessons to small groups of students to engage them in learning tasks and progress their development
