Junior - Mid Creative Artworker The Role: The Junior-Mid Creative Artworker's key responsibility is from layouts or key visuals supplied by the agencies Design Department, to create Press, POS, Digital, OOH, DOOH, Brochures & DM materials ready for supply to printers, publications. The agency uses Keynote heavily across all departments so, the candidate would need to be fully conversant within this application. They should be able to assist the agencies Design department when necessary and be able to suggest ideas and improvements along with following styled templates. The candidate should thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment across presentations, digital and print media. Need to be highly adaptable to changing situations with a flawless attention to detail. They will need to be brilliantly organised with superb time management and have a keen eye for typography. Responsibilities: Support the creative development process by developing layouts, composites and templates that are used to communicate a creative concept or specific execution. Prepare presentation materials in Keynote required for internal or client presentations (file prep, large format output, boarding/mounting, finishing) Perform alterations of presentation and production files as directed Create accurate and precise Press, OOH, POS, Brochures, DM & master artworks from a layout to supplied specifications Create accurate and precise Digital materials for Display or DOOH, including simple animations and transitions Adhere to client-supplied or internal style guidelines Ensure all artwork elements conform to the intended reproduction specifications including colour space, resolution, file type/size and proper separation Adhere to file and server management procedures for all supplied and working files including naming conventions, storage location, version control and archive/restore management Use workflow systems to successfully generate press-ready output files, routing prints and certifiable retouching and contract/publication proofs Ensure all output is to extremely high standards, working with Design & Creatives where applicable Record accurately and in a timely manner all labour, materials and required comments in job management/timesheet system People Responsibilities: Be a team player Build strong relationships with the agency Design, Creative, Strategic Depts Company Responsibilities: Play an active role representing Wellcom within the agency Design, Creative & Project management teams, promoting communication and teamwork Required Experience & Skills: At least 3-5 years agency experience across integrated campaigns (print, digital; PR/social a plus) Must be familiar with and understand the print production/pre-press processes Must be familiar with and understand Digital display & DOOH processes Superior Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Keynote skills required After effects skills an advantage Good knowledge of fonts and typography Superior written and verbal communication skills with internal teams Ability to re-prioritize and respond to changing demands Demonstrated ability to learn quickly Proven effectiveness when working under pressure Appreciation for the creative process Skilled at working with design and creative teams Benefits 25 days holiday Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the office Birthday Day Off Volunteering Days Christmas Closure Company pension scheme Cycle-to-work scheme Employee Assistance Programme Mental Health Support Dog friendly offices
